Jay brings the
steady hand of a man who knows wine and wine country. Jay's early career
focused on the restaurant business, from Chef to General Manager.
Developing a California wine distributorship, and concentrating on
international marketing and sales, it all leads back to a passion for
the wine industry. Jay joined Cuvaison in 1998 as Director of Marketing
and Sales, and in 2002 became President.

Steve’s excellent
track record, both in managing vineyards and producing world-class
wines, makes him the perfect fit for Cuvaison. His years of experience
making Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot from Carneros, and Cabernet
Sauvignon from mountain vineyards, provides Cuvaison with the best of
both worlds.

Growing up in northern California,
especially Napa Valley, seems to lure many UC Davis alumni into a
winemaking career. And, so was the case with our Assistant Winemaker,
Matt Sunseri. With a BS in Fermentation Science, he joined Cuvaison in
1998, starting out as our Enologist. With an extremely particular palate
and keen sense of smell, Matt guides and contributes to the process and
production of our exceptional wines

Todd
gained a passion for wine while working as a journalist in Hungary.
Instead of buying a small vineyard as a hobby, he returned to his native
California to pursue a degree in viticulture and enology at Fresno
State. Todd enjoys working as Cuvaison's enologist, spending time
following each wine's evolution in the laboratory through tastings and
analysis.

If you ever have the
opportunity to meet Tory, you will witness down-to-earth, southern
warmth. Evidence of her love of the land can be witnessed in her home
garden, filled with an incredible selection of herbs and vegetables.
With Tory’s experience and acumen with numbers, we are glad that she has
chosen her role to be here at Cuvaison. She enthusiastically enjoys the
quality of life that is afforded to each of us in this exciting, yet
competitive trade. Tory is currently a member in good standing of the,
“Bacon of the Month Club.” |

Raised in Yountville, Kim could not escape working in the wine
industry. After completing her course work at the University of Oregon,
she returned to sunny CA to work for a wine
and spirits distributor. Also while in Oregon, Kim spent three years working for a winery in the Willamette
Valley.
When
she isn't cooking or traveling, you will find Kim here at Cuvaison,
giving a great tour of our rustic property including our barrel-filled
wine cave. |

Jamie is a California native who
relocated to the Napa Valley to pursue her love of food and wine. By
attaining her Certificate of Culinary Arts at the Napa Valley Cooking
School in 2003 Jamie was afforded the opportunity to work at several of
the finest eateries in the valley. But she could not ignore the desire
to share her excitement about wine with others, ultimately leading her
to Cuvaison in the fall 2005. She is currently planning the details of
her September “Napa-style” wedding, complete with a procession through
the vineyard.
