2022 Chardonnay, Kite Tail

Our initial harvest each year is dedicated to Kite Tail Chardonnay. Crafted from Old Wente clone grapes, this wine captures the vibrant acidity and abundant flavors that are a signature of our cool climate Estate, Tai Vineyard. A well-defined architecture supports complex layers of flavor, that unfold to reveal refreshing notes of apricot, green apple, nectarine, and lemon chiffon. This wine’s flinty character and minerally undertones are balanced by its fine depth and style, carrying through to an elegantly prolonged finish.
